Privacy Policy

Tiger Boards is a boutique Australian board search and advisory practice, founded by Kylie Hammond. We appoint Chairpersons, Non-Executive Directors, committee members, investor directors and advisory board members, and we advise boards when the question is not only “who”.

This page explains how we handle personal information when you use tigerboards.com.au, contact us, join the Board Director Registry, complete a capital-raising questionnaire, or book a conversation. Where we have not published a company ABN, a named privacy officer, or a vendor list, we have not invented one.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect what you give us, and a limited amount of technical data created when you use the site.

Enquiries and contact. The contact form asks for first name, last name, company, email and a message. The same kinds of details arrive by telephone, email, or when you book a time to speak with Kylie.

Board Director Registry. The registry form asks for first name, last name, current title, company or organisation, whether you are serving on a board, email, a short note, and a résumé. The registry is not a public directory.

Capital-raising questionnaires. The capital-raising questionnaire collects company and contact details, raise and ownership information, financial and legal matters, founder and director declarations, and any supporting documents you attach. That form is confidential client due diligence, not a marketing list.

Search and advisory work. If you are a client, candidate, referee or another person named in a mandate, we may also hold information you or a client provide, plus references and publicly available professional profiles, where that is reasonably necessary for the work.

Site use. Our systems may record technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the time of a visit, so we can operate and secure the site.

The site is for boards, owners, investors and directors. Incomplete forms may mean we cannot consider you for a mandate or respond in full.

How we use it

We use personal information for the reason you gave it, and for closely related work you would reasonably expect: to respond to enquiries about board search, advisory, next-generation directors, capital raising or Tiger Boards IQ; to review registry submissions against confidential mandates; to assess a capital-raising conversation; to run a search or advisory engagement; to operate and protect the website; and to keep records we need for professional or legal reasons.

We do not use registry résumés as a public candidate catalogue. We do not use capital-raising questionnaires as marketing content.

How we share it

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers who help us run the practice — hosting, email, form handling, document storage, or appointment booking. They are engaged to provide a service to us, not to use your information for their own marketing.

We may share candidate or client information with the other side of a live, confidential mandate where that is the point of the work. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Tiger Boards, our clients, or other people.

Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps so the information is still handled consistently with this policy and Australian privacy law. We have not published a vendor list, and this page does not invent one.

How we store it

We keep personal information in the systems we use to run the practice and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep it for as long as we need it for that purpose, and for any longer period the law or a professional obligation requires, then take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete. Write to info@tigerboards.com.au or use the numbers above. We will need enough detail to find your record and to be satisfied we are speaking with you.

If you are not satisfied, complain to us first. If we cannot resolve it, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Cookies

The site may use cookies and similar technology so pages load, forms work, and we can understand in general terms how the site is used. That is a high-level description only. We have not published a cookie or vendor list, and this policy does not invent one. You can usually control cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect forms or booking.
